Tarot Reading

Tarot cards are a deck of cards, rich with symbolism that dates back to the 1500's. They are used to divine the future. Megan has been reading Tarot cards for 44 years and has read professionally for 38 years. Often the cards add clarity, when it's lacking and direction, in uncertainty.

Kate earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington University then set off to fulfill her dream of traveling the world. She became fascinated with health care throughout different cultures and, astounded by the effectiveness and power of Chinese medicine, she discovered her life path. Kate earned her master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, CA in 2007. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Colorado and is nationally board certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Kate’s specialties include pain, women’s health conditions (including PMS, hormonal imbalance and menopausal symptoms), digestive disorders and mental-emotional imbalances. While Kate cherishes her years of travelling and is deeply grateful for her many amazing teachers in California, she is thrilled to be laying down roots in northwest Denver. She feels incredibly blessed for her patients, from whom she learns so much from every day, and for the opportunity to serve her community by promoting health and balance. In her free time, Kate loves spending time in the mountains, biking, gardening, and practicing yoga. She is also always eager for adventures with her husband and two kids.

Megan has been a massage therapist for 24 years. She loves the clinical application of massage to bring about ease in the body and specializes in deep tissue and neuromuscular techniques

Because of her early life experiences and the body work she has received over the years, she is aware of how important massage is for helping herself and others heal from a traumatic childhood. For 17 years, she was the massage therapist at a treatment facility for children and helped over 400 children with trauma experiences become better friends with their bodies, and learn to define their boundaries, sometimes for the first time. She also is a Reiki master and combines that with a gentle technique called positional release.

In addition to providing deep tissue massage for adults at DCA, she will offer half-hour sessions for children to support relaxation and a better relationship with their own bodies, using a variety of modalities that include singing bowls, tuning forks, and essential oils.

She is a native of Denver, Colorado and loves art having spent years learning silversmithing, stone cutting, pottery, and writing poetry.  In 2012 she wrote a book about trauma and recovery called Trauma and Abuse Decoded: A Poor Person’s Guide to a World Class Healing.

Alana’s personal and professional journey in health and wellness began in 2000 when she started working as a student athletic trainer at North Idaho College while taking pre-requisites for Physical Therapy. Upon moving to Denver in 2003, she worked as a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. She graduated from MSU Denver with a Bachelors of Science in Human Performance and Sport & Nutrition. This became her foundation for teaching clients how to take their health into their own hands using exercise and nutrition. Alana’s career in fitness led her to Yoga, where she learned about Yoga’s sister science Ayurveda. Ayurveda changed the way she viewed health. Through incorporating Ayurvedic daily practices, nutrition and herbal medicine she was able to resolve her chronic digestive issues and felt more vibrant than ever before. It had always been her dream to become an integrated medicine practitioner, so Alana went on to study nursing and she earned her BSN at CU College of Nursing and has been working as a Registered Nurse since 2015. While her clinical experience as an RN has been invaluable, she realized that Western medicine focused on treating disease and symptoms rather than the whole person. She wanted to focus on prevention over pharmacology and balance over bandaids, which led her back to Eastern Medicine. Alana graduated from Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2021 with a Master’s in Acupuncture and founded 3 Pillars Holistic Health where she blends nutrition, Yoga Therapy & Ayurveda, Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine into an integrative system to promote health and wellness to clients of all ages. Alana specializes in pain, musculoskeletal injuries, headaches, insomnia, digestive issues and women’s health. When she’s not learning or working, Alana enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, mountain biking and snowboarding, cooking, listening to music and dancing.

Like so many folks in Denver, Adrienne is not a Colorado native, but she is happy to call this sunny state and its awe-inspiring mountains home. Her love of learning, travel, and tai chi are rivaled only by her love for her wonderful family. Adrienne earned her Master’s of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin, Texas. She is a licensed acupuncturist in Colorado and a nationally board certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. Since 2010, DCA has been like a second home to Adrienne, and the other practitioners and patients, a second family. She has seen so many patients change, heal, and grow over time and she gets as much pleasure from seeing old familiar faces as she does meeting new ones. As an acupuncturist and herbalist, she is grateful for the opportunity to share this powerful medicine with the DCA community. Adrienne has a special interest in treating stress and anxiety, structural imbalances, immune deficiencies, digestive disorders, and women’s health conditions related to pregnancy support and hormonal imbalances.

Dr. Christy is a physical therapist who specializes in both infants and adults and whose focus is on a wholistic approach to the body with an emphasis on regulating the nervous system. At Be Still Physical Therapy we prioritize regulating the stressed nervous system first and then “treat” from this place of rest/stillness. In this place, the body is able to make the changes from the inside-out. This type of change is more easily integrated and more likely permanent as we are addressing the source of the problem rather than chasing symptoms. In doing this, the client’s body also becomes more involved in their own healing process.

I utilize a variety of treatment modalities depending on the client’s individual needs that include: Craniosacral Therapy, Neuromeningeal ManipuIation, Neurovascular Technique, Myofascial Release, Myofascial Cupping, Vagus nerve training, Lymphatic Mobilization and I have been certified in Dry Needling since 2013.
